Urban Air Invests in New Ways to Play

Michael Browning Jr.–the well-respected leader of the Urban Air Adventure Park franchise brand–has always had an imaginative and innovative eye when it comes to entertainment. What started 20+ years ago with Browning’s first adventure (and subsequent business sale) is now an immersive, active play experience at Urban Air Adventure Parks across the country.

“We help families celebrate special moments, escape the hardships of the real world and connect socially – offline,” says Browning.

And, it’s working. An estimated 20 million kids are expected to play at Urban Air this year. What does 20 million kids look like for franchise owners? Browning says average sales across the franchises are up 28 percent when compared to pre-COVID-19 levels. And, with data driving most of the decisions Urban Air’s executive team makes, the company continues to lead the industry in experiences that are second-to-none.

“When we look at what’s next, we go back to the data. It’s got to fit our demo. It’s got to be safe. It’s got to be active. It’s got to be unique,” he adds. “And it’s got to have a repeatability so it’s not a one-and-done experience for the kids.”
